Our default: do not collect it

Most of Zurich Sorted works without an account. The guides, filters and search run in the browser. We do not need your name, address, employer, health information or immigration details to give you information.

Search

Search terms are processed locally in your browser. Raw search text is not sent to Google Analytics. If a search suggests a crisis, medical or legal issue, the site shows a fixed routing message and links to authoritative resources; Zurich Sorted does not assess or store the situation.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics in Advanced Consent Mode. Before you make a choice — and after a decline — analytics storage remains denied and only cookieless measurement signals are sent. If you choose “Allow analytics,” analytics storage is enabled. We track broad interactions such as page views, guide clicks, section views, scroll depth and destination categories. Raw search text is not sent. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled.

Meet People

The optional community-introduction form intentionally asks for very little: email and broad interest categories. There are no public profiles, direct messages, exact addresses, child names/photos, schools or phone numbers. If Netlify Forms is used, the hosting provider processes submissions. Delete unmatched records on a short retention schedule and delete a record promptly on request.

Employer interest

Employer-interest submissions are used only to respond about Zurich Sorted employer features. They are not sold or used for advertising.

External sites

External resources have their own privacy practices and are responsible for their own services.
